Ceramic, glossy teal glaze pooling darker at the fascia, elongated crescent-form with upturned pointed ends, raised on four conical legs, exterior wrapped in tightly incised horizontal banding, glaze breaking over the ridges to reveal darker undertones, interior smoother and more even with subtle depth in tone, stamped to the base by a now-defunct, highly regarded ikebana kiln known for avant-garde forms, Showa-era vintage, ikebana vessel suited for use with a kenzan.
