Brown Slab
A long, low slab-built vase with a narrow boat-like well, straight raised sides and sharply flared, notched ends. The elongated body stands on short block feet and is articulated by horizontal incised lines. Layered matte brown, ochre and muted olive glazing gives the surface a softly variegated finish. Kiln stamp and model number stamped on the base. This piece weighs 3.1kg which is 3 times the weight of a typical weight so it is a significantly large model.
