Brown Portal
A low oval vase built around a broad central aperture. Fine combed texture radiates across the flattened brown surface, while the recessed well creates a strong interplay between mass and void. The clay has chunky aggregate which compliments the abstract form.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time. The photographs provide further detail on the individual character and condition of the piece.
