Brown Loop
A sculptural ikebana bud vase built from looping slab-like band around a tall bud vase chamber. Speckled brown, ochre and muted green surfaces expose the layered construction, creating an expressive avant-garde form. The clay has chunky aggregate and there are rustic manually drawn striations surrounding the slab band including on the bottom of the vase.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
