Grey Maze
A square pedestal container with a deep central well and heavily modelled geometric relief around the outer walls. Dark grey-green glaze settles into the recesses, giving the vessel a dense brutalist character. Part of the original kiln sticker remains. This was made by a now-defunct ikebana kiln which was renowned for their very avant-garde and strange forms.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
