Green Monolith
A tall and quite large green and black vessel which takes design cues from a traditional Japanese bamboo pail with a severe tapering profile and restrained geometric construction. Its dark earthy finish and monolithic silhouette give it a brutalist character. There is a timber crossbar which bridges the upper part of the aperture.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
