White Crescent - Dual Display
A long, sculptural vase with a sweeping crescent opening, raised pointed ends and a subtly rippled white surface. A baby blue glaze traces the recessed well. It has two flat, unglazed bases—one along its long side and one at its narrow end—so the opening can face upwards or sideways. This unusual dual-display form reflects a style popular in the 1970s and 1980s in Japanese modern ikebana vase design.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
