A green sculptural vessel with an irregular abstract profile and restrained neutral finish. This was a pottery wheel turned piece made for Sogetsu and is stamped to the base accordingly. The unique feature is the faux handles are attached upside down. This is an iconic model in the Sogetsu community due to it featuring in many old Sogetsu publications and exhibitions from last century.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
