Yellow Lemons
Wildly eccentric, bold and post-modern, this yellow sculptural vessel is composed of rounded, lemon-like volumes punctuated by circular openings. Its strange modular geometry captures the experimental zeitgeist of modernist ikebana design at its most adventurous. Produced by a now-defunct ikebana kiln renowned for some of the most avant-garde vessel forms of the era. So rare that Japan Modern has never seen this before. The original kiln sticker remains intact.
