Black Cast Iron Vessel
A textured Yamagata cast-iron vessel with pale wooden accents at either side. Designed for use as both a pen holder or a bud vase; for flowers, place a water-filled cup inside the iron body. This is explained in the accompanying mini pamphlet from the manufacturer. Raised lettering appears to commemorate an event held in Yamagata. The original paper band and pamphlet are included.
Vintage cast-iron pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, finish variation, minor oxidation and wear to the wooden accents.
