Grey Glass Portal - Very Large

Grey Glass Portal
This exceptionally large sculptural glass vase constructed from two sheets of glass joined into a single planar form, with one circular aperture cut through the body. The restrained grey-toned transparency and layered edges emphasise its flat, architectural construction. Please note the significant 53cm length and 3kg weight of this large vessel.
Its reduction to intersecting planes and a single void gives the piece a distinctly abstract modernist character.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
