Ceramic, deep olive–moss glaze with subtle tonal variation, dense stamped grid pattern wrapping the well fascia, recessed band detail at midline, wide circular suiban form with gently flared rim and deep well, retains original kiln sticker from a now-defunct ikebana kiln, Showa-era vintage, quiet rustic presence, excellent for beginner ikebana practitioner with wide open aperture suited for kenzan (flower frog) placement.

Substantial in hand, weight-wise, it's just over double the weight of a typical 1kg vase. Built in an era where things were made to last—mid-century Japanese production with enduring material integrity, and likely to hold for another century and beyond.
