Green Suiban
A low green suiban with folded angular walls, a raised base and a long central opening. Its stepped construction creates intersecting planes and a distinctly architectural silhouette. One well fascia has triangular geometric motifs and the opposing fascia is empty. The entire vessel is covered in controlled crazing and the glaze pools deep in the edges of the well interior and on the triangular fascia motifs. Vase base shows kiln stamp.
