A long black oblong vase with a recessed hidden oval foot. The well appears to float because the foot appears just out of sight. There are faint splashes of contrasting blue-ish glaze splashed haphazardly across the fascia. There is also an indented pattern surrounding the entire well wall. This vase was made by a Kyoto based kiln with over 400 years of firing history and retains the original kiln stocker and is stamped to the base.
As a vintage piece, it may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks and minor staining. The photographs provide further detail on its condition and appearance."
