Brown Jagged

A low brown vase with a randomly jagged folded rim, broad central opening and tightly curled interior wall. Grey, cream and earthy brown bands follow the irregular contours, intensifying its turbulent sculptural form. The ceramic artisan who made this vase accidentally incised a small crooked line near the pedestal base and then just glazed over it as if nothing happened - effectively immortalising the his/her decision to leave the accidental incised line for every future vase owner to see.
