A turquoise vase formed from intersecting vertical fins around a rounded central body. The large circular opening and pointed projections give it a rocket-like, retro-futurist silhouette. Retains the original Japanese ikebana kiln sticker. A large splash of turquoise glaze dilates from the well fascia and one fin. This is a survivor piece of Tokoname ikebana kiln history and even has the original kiln sticker for proof.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
