Black Axis
A highly sculptural vase built around the intersection of a tall vertical tube and a low, looping horizontal body. The lower form curls around an open void before extending into a pointed projection, with a second recessed aperture set into its upper surface. A matte, dry-textured black finish unifies the complex construction. Kiln stamp and sticker can be seen on the vase base. This is a large substantial model with a bold presence.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
