Cobalt Plinth
A low rectangular ikebana container with a subtly notched outline and raised architectural base. The deep cobalt glaze pools across the interior, while repeating moulded leaf forms create a strongly patterned exterior. Controlled crazing can be seen throughout the glaze.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time. The photographs provide further detail on the individual character and condition of the piece.
