Black Tripod
A substantial cylindrical vase raised on three tapered legs. Repeated vertical beige incisions cut through the textured black surface, creating a rhythmic graphic band around the body. Boldy modernist in form - this suiban vase was made by a now-deucnt kiln which also made the iconic bison vase, baby dinosaur and yacht.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time. The photographs provide further detail on the individual character and condition of the piece.
