White Cylinder
A tall cylindrical vase in textured white, with a gently pinched waist and dense vertical incisions. Dark speckling across the surface gives the restrained form a rustic tactile quality. The kiln stamp can be seen on the base, clay aggregate is gritty, the form is bold and modernist, the glaze is dripping and pockmarked, previous owner's name is written on the base - this model has all the markings of peak modernist ikebana form.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
