Black Stem
A 1970s Nambu cast-iron ikebana vase with a raised cup supported by a sinuous forged stem and weighted circular base. Its spare black silhouette gives the piece a distinctly sculptural modernist character. Surface oxidation is consistent with its age and iron construction.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
