Rust Nest
A rounded nest-form ikebana vase with a broad irregular opening folded into the upper body. Coarse black texture is densely overlaid with rust-orange speckling, giving the compact vessel a rugged brutalist surface. The clay aggregate is chunky and the glaze is perfectly imperfect with pockmarks and dried leather texture. This is not a cute little vase, it is a large 3.4kg brutalist statement which will dramatically contrast with delicate floral matter.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
