Olive Trough
A long oval pedestal container with a deep recessed well and compact central foot. Mottled olive-green and black glaze accentuates the heavy, architectural form and its modernist character. This was made in Shigaraki and was part of a black and green series.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
