Turquoise Abstract
An asymmetrical ikebana vase with a vertical neck aperture and a second broad opening recessed into its triangular body. Turquoise glaze, black striations and pale exposed edges create a distinctly avant-garde composition. The smooth glazed surfaces, including part of the interior well, feature controlled crazing, while vertical striations articulate the triangular fascia. The original kiln sticker remains attached, and the base bears the impressed mark of its Shigaraki kiln.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
