Yellow Jagged

Yellow Jagged is an angular ceramic vase defined by a sharp, irregular silhouette and yellow glaze. Its fractured geometry gives it a graphic, avant-garde presence.

Made by a now-defunct ikebana kiln in Tokoname which was renowned for their avant-garde forms and retains the original kiln sticker. This form was reproduced by a kiln in Shigaraki in more contemporary times but this is an original piece in an original two tone colour way and also retains the original kiln sticker.

Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
