Turquoise Orb
A turquoise orb raised on a narrow pedestal, combining saturated colour with pure geometric form. This very old piece retains the original kiln sticker showing clear provenance of the original Kyoto Kiyomizu-ware kiln which made it. The base is also clearly stamped. This is perfectly imperfect and boldly modernist.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
