Ceramic Bamboo
A pale cylindrical form with bamboo-like articulation and an understated organic modernist character. This is a ceramic interpretation of a dual well bamboo vase with a controlled crackle glaze finish. The base is stamped by the kiln and manually incised in stylised kanji calligraphy by the artisan who made it.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
