Black Fascia

Black Fascia
A compact black vessel built around a fascia hiding a well behind it. The vessel has a narrow opening at the front and a sculptural geometric silhouette. The form has a restrained avant-garde character. The matte black glaze is imperfectly pockmarked here and there for a perfect faux patina.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
