Turquoise Crest
A turquoise vessel with a low body rising into an irregular crest-like profile. Its mottled surface and asymmetry give it a tactile modernist presence. Made by a now-defunct Tokoname ikebana kiln, it retains its original silver sticker, denoting B-grade stock due to production or firing variation that is not readily apparent. The kiln stamp is also visible on the bottom.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
