White Trophy

A white pedestal vase with a broad trophy-like upper body and compact base. Its clean, symmetrical massing gives it a restrained modernist presence. Made by a now-defunct kiln in Tokoname and has their trademark faux marble glaze which was mixed in-house using several different types of white glaze. The vase also retains the original kiln sticker which denotes it is A grade due to being gold and not silver.

Condition is excellent - there is hardly any evidence of prior usage despite being decades old.

Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
