Black Trophy

A black pedestal vase with a broad trophy-like upper body and compact base. Its clean, symmetrical massing gives it a restrained modernist presence. Made by a now-defunct kiln in Tokoname. The vase also retains the original kiln sticker which denotes it is A grade due to being gold and not silver.

Condition is excellent - there is only some slight scuff marks on the well interior despite being decades old. There is also a matching white model available called White Trophy.

Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
