Grey Crater

Grey Crater

A low, dark-grey vessel spreads into broad, squared wings around a deeply recessed, irregular central well. The rim folds inward in a series of notches, creating a jagged outline when viewed from above. Made by a now-defunct ikebana kiln, it bears a faint incised kiln name beneath the glaze on its base.

Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
