Triple Cat Bookends
A vintage Japanese cast iron bookend pair formed as three stylised cats with arched backs and pierced negative space, L-shaped bases for book support. Blackened finish with scattered rust-brown highlights across the textured surface. Mid-century modern Takaoka form in the style of Tadahiro Baba, sold as a matched pair.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, finish and patina variation, casting irregularities, mould seams, minor rust or oxidation, staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
