Slipcast ikebana vase with a long, low-profile form and a single offset aperture rising from the upper surface. The silhouette recalls a vessel, wing or hull, with softly rounded ends and a continuous flowing profile. Finished in a satin black glaze with subtle blue highlights and tonal variation. Fine gold incised lines trace the upper plane, accentuating the vase's elongated geometry and restrained modernist character.
Vintage condition consistent with age. Firing variations, glaze irregularities and kiln effects are inherent to handmade ceramics.
