Turquoise Dragons

A tall tapering ceramic nageire form with a four-faceted body and symmetrical dragon-motif faux handles. Pinched waist expanding into a flared aperture and foot. Finished in a deliberately aged, grimy patina glaze.
Retains original paper kiln label. Produced by a now-defunct, highly coveted ikebana kiln. Designed for direct floral stem placement—no kenzan (flower frog) required. Simply add water and place flowers into the vase. 

Each vase is a vintage piece from last century and will show signs of age and prior use, including scuffs, water marks, and surface wear.
