A crescent-shaped vase with a sharply rising back and an open, sweeping profile. Vertical pale bands layered over olive glaze which follow the curve and strengthen the graphic silhouette of this moon crescent formed vessel. Well interior is black, pockmarked and crazed. Strong Showa retro aesthetic with commensurate usage over the decades.
