White Arrowhead

A tall white vase with an arrowhead-like profile, deeply ridged surface and sharply sloping upper section. The angled elliptical opening cuts through the geometric body, while the matte pale glaze accentuates its carved texture. Retains the original Japanese ikebana kiln stamp to the base. This kiln stopped ikebana production last century. Their avant-garde forms remain in the wild in Japan and we always procure when opportunely available. This vessel can be used as a nageire vase - just toss in floral stems and averagely loosely.
