A white pedestal vase with a faceted pentagonal body raised on glossy tripod black legs. Its upper section tapers towards an oval well, while stepped horizontal ridges articulate the lower front fascia. The contrast between the pale angular body and dark tripod base gives the vase a bold, balanced silhouette. This now-defunct Japanese ikebana kiln from last century was renowned for very abstract and outright odd forms like this UFO-esque specimen.
