White Igloo
A white dome-shaped vase with a low, rounded profile resembling an igloo. The angled oval aperture is offset and cut into the sloping upper surface, creating an asymmetrical silhouette that changes with the viewing angle. A fine pink stripe runs vertically across the glossy white body, providing a restrained accent to the sculptural form. This dome has a somewhat post-modern aesthetic which was very popular in the ikebana heyday of 1980s Japan.
