A strange and highly sculptural Shigaraki-ware vase formed from three conjoined circular bodies, each set at a different angle to disrupt the vertical axis. Concentric wheel-thrown ribbing defines each circle, with a single aperture cut into the uppermost form. The base bears an incised artisan’s mark and also retains the original kiln sticker.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
