Green Basin
Green Basin is a low sculptural vessel with an irregular basin-like form and green glaze. Broad, asymmetric geometry gives it an understated avant-garde character. The aperture lip has been cut and curled in two places which provide a visual point of interest. There are also two circles cut out of the well fascia which provide further visual anchors for this piece. The glaze is thick and pools here and there.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
