A paired black sculptural form built around circular voids, playful yet rigorously modernist. This is an iconic model designed by the founder of the Sogetsu school of ikebana and comes with the original battered cardboard box. The base is also stamped with one kanji from his first name. This model is globally well known and has been featured in many Sogetsu ikebana publications over the last century. This is the second iteration of the model. The first model was smaller and faceted.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
