Blue Bud
Slender ceramic bud vase with a curved upright stem and sweeping, forked base. The narrow mouth and spare, branching silhouette accentuate the vertical line. Made by a now-defunct ikebana kiln during the era when lighter abstract post-modern forms were in vogue.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
