White Spiral
A white sculptural vessel with a curling asymmetrical profile and pronounced open centre and faux-handle. The glaze has controlled crazing over the entire vessel and includes a battered cardboard box which has been used for the last few decades to store it. The vessel also retains the original kiln sticker from the now-defunct Tokoname kiln that produced it.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
