Green Pool
A very long, large and heavy shallow ceramic suiban with irregular raised edges and a gently curved profile. A typical vase weighs 1kg, this weighs in at a heavy 2.7kg. Glossy olive and amber glaze gathers along the rim, framing a pinkish-brown speckled basin with pale blue-green pooling at its edges. The kiln sticker of this now-defunct kiln remains intact on the vase.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time. This piece shows very little evidence of prior usage.
