Green Drips
A matte cream ceramic ikebana vase with a broad angular bowl, raised corners and green glaze dripping down the textured sides. Horizontal bands wrap the lower body and pedestal. The well interior has pooling crackle glass glaze. This was the signature look of the kiln which made it. Perfectly imperfect and boldly modernist. This is peak modernist anaesthetic in the form of a perfect ikebana vessel.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks, minor staining and other characteristics acquired over time.
