Yellow Eye

Yellow Eye
A strikingly strange bright yellow ceramic ikebana vase in the form of a long, pointed oval frame — like a single open eye — with a large central void and small pedestal foot. Sculpture first, vase second; made by a kiln known for post-modern abstract forms, it rejects the utilitarian and becomes an instant talking point.
Vintage pieces may show signs of age and prior use, including surface wear, glaze variation, firing irregularities, kiln marks and minor staining.
